How rarity & stage work

Purrks

Each Stoncat has purrks — visual traits like body, face, ears, clothes, and background, plus optional ones such as hair, hat, glasses, or earrings. New mints start plain (no hair); you roll hair and other extras by feeding GEMSTON. Together they make the look.

When you feed GEMSTON, one purrk is rolled into inventory. The look stays the same until you equip it in Dress up. Spending more on that feed improves rare-tier odds and can widen which slots can appear.

Browse every purrk →

Rarity

Your rarity and score come from the purrks you currently wear. The badge shows both, like Paper · 6 or Hodl · 26.

In a badge like Paper · 6, the 6 is your rarity score — how close you are to the next rank (e.g. “20 pts to Hodl”).

Rarity ranks:

Paper → Hodl → Whale → Genesis → Diamond → Satoshi

A new Stoncat usually starts at Paper · 6 (six basic purrks, no accessories). Equipping rarer purrks raises the score and can move you up the ranks.

Stage

Stage is different. It rises with the total GEMSTON spent on this Stoncat:

Stray (starting stage) → Trained (100 GEMSTON total) → Elite (500) → Cosmic (2,000) → Mythic (5,000)

Higher stage unlocks rarer purrk options for future rolls and for equipping. Rolls stay random — you just get access to a better pool.

Rarity vs stage

Stage = which purrks can appear (and be equipped) next.
Rarity = the quality of the look you currently wear.

Odds & Fairness

Rolls are random — but the rules are simple. Here’s what actually matters when you feed GEMSTON.

One feed = one roll

Each time you Feed GEMSTON, exactly one purrk is rolled into this Stoncat’s inventory. The look does not change until you equip it in Dress up.

If you already hold that exact purrk, the roll is a duplicate — no new item, but spend, stage progress, and utility still count.

How much you spend this time

Bigger feeds expand which trait slots can appear in the roll, and improve the chance of a rarer tier (Standard → Premium → Elite → Mythic). Nothing is guaranteed — it’s still a roll.

  • Low (1–99) — required slots (body, face, ears, clothes, background) plus empty hair; other accessories stay out of the pool
  • Medium (100–499) — can also change hair you already wear, and other accessory slots you already wear
  • High (500–999) — can roll accessories you don’t wear yet; stronger rare odds
  • Ultra (1,000+) — same scope as High, with the best rare odds

Total spent unlocks better options

Stage rises with the total GEMSTON spent on this Stoncat (rolls count; paid mint may also count toward stage). Higher stage unlocks rarer purrk values in the roll pool — and for equipping. Rolls stay random; you just get access to a better pool.

Stray (starting stage) → Trained (100 GEMSTON total) → Elite (500) → Cosmic (2,000) → Mythic (5,000)

Rarity is from what you wear

Your rarity and score come from the purrks you currently have equipped — not from a separate lottery, and not from unused inventory. The badge shows both, like Paper · 6 or Hodl · 26. Equip rarer purrks in Dress up to raise rarity.

Rarity ranks: Paper → Hodl → Whale → Genesis → Diamond → Satoshi. A new Stoncat usually starts at Paper · 6 (six basic purrks, no accessories).

Stage = which purrks can appear (and be equipped) next.
Rarity = the quality of the look you currently wear.

Fair play

  • No specific look or rarity is promised
  • Spending more improves your chances — it doesn’t buy a result
  • On-chain payments are final (Terms)
  • Built for fun and community — not as an investment

Confirm GEMSTON spend

You are about to spend 0 GEMSTON to roll a Purrk.

This rolls one random Purrk into inventory. Higher amounts can improve rare-tier odds, but no specific result is guaranteed. The look changes only when you equip in Dress up.

On-chain transactions are irreversible. No refunds.
